We're back!

Welcome to another semester with WRFNRadio.com! We have officially kicked off live broadcasting for 2008--bringing you new shows, new DJs, fresh spins on old favorites, as well as the music and content that you can't get from regular radio.

As it is tradition with WRFNRadio.com, expect new show profiles & DJ pages on the site within the first few weeks of the semester. We also encourage you to keep your eyes & ears open, as you may catch us broadcasting LIVE around the Northern Kentucky University campus. You can also expect an entire identity overhaul--we're changing our name! Any suggestions?

BE HEARD! Join WRFNRadio.com

Current Northern Kentucky University students of all majors are encouranged to join the DJs and staff of WRFNRadio.com on Wednesday, December 5th at 4:00pm for our Spring 2008 recruitment meeting! We will be gathering in the station (located in room 7B in the University Center building within the Student Involvement Center) to tell DJ and staff hopefuls about how the station works, discuss ideas for shows and content, sign up for show times, and to discuss our plans for next semester! WRFNRadio.com's special programming for Halloween

Join DJ Triskut on Wednesday, October 31st for a special Halloween edition of The ADD Hour (4:30-6:00pm). Special guests will include Velma from Scooby Doo, Death, "Hermione" from Harry Potter & "Terry" from Reno 911. The tunes will be themed appropriately for the evening. Check it out & tell us during the show what you will be wearing for the occasion!

NEWS PAGE UPDATE - October 17, 2007

You may have noticed that the website went a lil' wonky last week. We were informed by out hosts, LostInSpaceHosting.com that, due to their transition to Apache 2 servers, our PHP scripts would have to be altered a bit. After a much-needed rest in the form of Fall Break, I have fixed all of the php scrips and you won't be seeing any more of those errors on the right side of the page. Email us if you notice any other site glitches that need to be fixed!

NEWS PAGE UPDATE - October 3, 2007

Today is the official launch of our 24-hour stream! We're proud to finally be broadcasting our unique programming to the world every hour of the day. We appreciate those of you who have been patient listeners throughout the transition. It was a bit rocky, but here we are!

In addition to the new 24 hour stream, the website has been revamped with a new layout, new staff profiles, new show profiles, and the Fall 2007 live broadcasting schedule. Soon we will have our "reviews" & "downloads" pages complete. Check back for more information!

As always, we are recruiting for new DJ's who want to come to WRFN and program a radio show. If you are interested in becoming a DJ, or another member of our staff (we need news writers, a program director's assistant, et cetera), check out the Join Our Team page & fill out an application! No experience required--just a love for music and a dedication to help make WRFN great!

This month, a few of us will be taking a trip to the College Broadcasters Inc 2007 Fall Conference in Washington, DC. In fact, we may even be doing a special and exclusive broadcast at the conference! More information soon.
